4over Celebrates Thanksgiving With Aviva Children's Center

November 20, 2007 – 4over employees celebrated Thanksgiving with the children at the Aviva Center. The onsite dinner event included a full Thanksgiving meal, provided by 4over, with roasted turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, glazed ham, grilled vegetables, house salad, garlic rolls, and apple and pumpkin pies. 4over also presented Aviva with a cash donation to help out with buying gifts for the kids.

After the dinner, all of the children at the center took a few minutes to talk about things that they were thankful for during the holiday season. Almost every one was thankful for living at such a caring facility like the Aviva center. As part of the last activity, 4over's employees hosted fun activities including canvas art and creating individualized friendship bracelets. The kids were very talented and really enjoyed their time during the arts and crafts session. They all made really great art pieces and bracelets which they got to keep and hang in their rooms.

“Each year, Aviva puts on a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for our residents. The goal is to provide the residents with a safe and supportive environment in which to celebrate the holidays, as many of them come from difficult family backgrounds. This year, 4over was an integral part of Aviva's holiday from providing the food and entertainment, to serving and interacting with the girls.
