4over's Annual Blood Drive, 2009

August 10, 2009 — As a continued tradition, this is the fourth consecutive year 4over hosted a blood drive at its California facilities. With more than 70 employees volunteering to donate blood to the Providence Holy Cross & Saint Joseph Medical and Blood Donor Center in Burbank, CA.

With great support and admiration from the employees two very successful days were scheduled for the drive. A total of 49 units were collected which will potentially save up to 100 lives.

With the help of Sandy Hibarger, the Director of Development at the Providence Blood Donor Center, a very warm and welcoming environment was set-up for donors with refreshments and snacks. Hibarger mentioned they “look forward to scheduling more dates for 2010” and continue these very successful blood drives.

Saving lives pint by pint, the blood drive was a great way to give back to the community on an incredibly important and much needed level. With a blood shortage across the nation, blood drives are always encouraged and 4over will gladly continue to help and support such an important cause.

About Providence Blood Donor Center — The Providence Blood Donor Center is part of a bigger organization called the Providence Holy Cross Medical Center and Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center that offers numerous health care and medical services to the public.
