Graphics Canada, 2011: "The right choice"

Mississauga, Canada— Nov 10, 2011 — 4over's announcement that it would be directly entering the Canadian market with a new print facility in Mississauga, Ontario has been very well received. Existing Canadian customers had been pushing the company to make this move for some time.

At the recent Graphics Canada, in Mississauga, those customers, and print resellers and distributors from across Canada, had the opportunity to meet some of the members of the 4over team who will be fulfilling their print needs from Mississauga. "The reception we received was fantastic. Bringing the same levels of quality and service we provide in the U.S. to our Canadian customers has been one of our top priorities for some time, and this reception proved it was the right choice," commented Zarik Megerdichian, CEO.

Over the past few months, 4over has been quietly assembling a robust Canadian production team, built around the core belief that 4over plants need to be staffed and run by members of the local community. Local resident, Tom Hogan, is the Plant Manager, and Tom has been kept busy hiring and training new local employees, running print tests and taking care of the hundreds of other details, big and small, that are necessary to make a 4over plant run properly

A Canada-native, Tom graduated from the Niagara College Engineering school. He began his career as a Computer Engineering Technologist, working in a variety of positions in the print industry including, newspaper production, plastic card manufacturing, sheet-fed offset, bindery, fulfillment and all areas of print research and development. Tom has a wealth of experience in start-ups. He played a key role in the production of Canada's National Newspaper, The Globe and Mail the outsourcing of its production to Interweb Ontario, which involved the development of a high-performance team based organization. He was also instrumental in the start-up, development and design of Transcontinental Metropolitain, the printer for LaPresse in Montreal.

With a strong background in fast-paced, deadline-orientated organizations, the development and execution of ISO Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety programs, and being well-versed in lean manufacturing methodologies and organizational development techniques, Tom will be at forefront of making sure 4over serves the needs of Canada's print resellers.
